One of the coolest pieces of kit that I have acquired. It looks great obviously, but this thing is not only functional it is built-like-a-tank solid. Somehow despite all reinforced strength and over engineering it is balanced and easy to swing whether as a hammer or a hatchet. Very easy to handle in all its multitool forms. I love the built in dutch oven hook under the hammer. Just a real big value add for me. The fit and finish is super seggsy. Y’all I can’t recommend it enough. Super rad.
The Spade really impressed me beyond my expectations. When I first saw it I was reminded of the old school Crate Axe / Hammers which were cool in concept but most were simply inferior materials. The Spade is a larger and fully functional version that brings back that nostalgia for me in a Super tough tool steel. I'm already wanting another just to keep at home as this one stays with me in the vehicle.
This Tac 8 Multitool is outstanding! Very well made with solid components (ax, prybar, shovel, pick/breeching pick, hoe, etc.) to tackle any task in the field. Very easy to switch out the various add-ons and we expect this tool to last a lifetime. We spend most of our free time in the Idaho/Montana mountains camping, motorcycling and overland exploring. This tool kicks ass and is worth every penny. From the hammer to the breaching pick to the tools incorporated in the handle, it’s a quality product that solves lots of problems.
